All Gull Rock pottery is oven & dishwasher safe wheel-thrown or slab- constructed stoneware. Our predominant theme is blue & white brush designs, but we also use rust-brown & celedon glazes. In addition to our standard functional line we do dinnerware place settings & one of a kind or limited edition miscellaneous pieces.
Gull Rock Pottery, the creation of Torj & Kurt Wray, started in Hancock,ME in 1980 . Their daughter-in-law Akemi Wray has been with them for 10 years & has become a full team member.
Gull Rock is a beautiful spot with an outstanding view of Mt. Cadillac & Mt. Desert Island across Frenchman Bay. The shop is located on Gull Rock Rd., 1.6 miles down Eastside Rd. (0ff of Rt1).Open Year round Monday through Saturday 9-5. |
